Afripedia will broaden its representation

Culture Creators with African origins from all over the world are from now on represented on Afripedia.com, the world’s first curated talent database for African creators. The founders are producer Teddy Goitom and director and photographer Senay Berhe, who together have more than 30 years of experience in the cultural and commercial sectors. The goal is to create real job opportunities. “We started Afripedia as a way to make visible artists of African origin from around the world in film, design, fashion and production. Our platform will kill the excuse that no professional African creators have been found to hire their productions, “says Teddy Goitom in a press release. The database includes Swedish fashion wonder Selam Fessahaye, photographer Paul Edwards and director Theresa Traoré Dahlberg, but also many promising creators, from Cape Town to Uppsala and Los Angeles to Munich.
