People diagnosed with the diseases are referred for treatment, with the distribution of drugs such as antivirals, antiretrovirals, antimicrobials and penicillin, among others. The Secretariat has intensified actions, through incentives and care, providing specialized monitoring for pregnant women who have HIV from prenatal to delivery, in addition to the acquisition and distribution of infant formula (milk) for children exposed to HIV, ensuring nutrition for children up to six months of age.
